UIL High School Science practice tests

Practice High School Science on 43 released tests and 2,580 questions — Invitational A and B, District, Region and State, 2017-18 through 2025-26 — with the circuits, graphs and structures from the real exams.

The contest

  • 60 multiple-choice questions: 20 each in biology, chemistry and physics
  • +6 for each correct answer, −2 for each wrong answer, 0 for a blank — 360 points possible
  • Two hours; UIL also names a top scorer in each of the three sciences

In Academic Ace

  • Every question with its original figure, and each test's data page (periodic table, constants) one tap away
  • Practice one section at a time (40 minutes) or the whole test (two hours), with section scores on the results
  • UIL's own worked solution for every chemistry and physics question, shown in review and after you answer in Reinforce mode
  • Where UIL's key contradicts its own worked solution, the app grades the solution's answer and says so

Free, with no account, no ads and no tracking. Academic Ace is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). Contest formats are summarized from UIL's released tests; check uiltexas.org for the current rules.
